Vampires

That day was horrible, and probably the worst I have ever had. A couple of minutes later after that incident, the other man came running towards us. His hood down, I could see him throughly. He was a living dream. Tall, looked so pure, and clean. He had wonderful green eyes, and soft-looking blonde hair that cut to his chin. I was mesmerized. "What happened Nickolas?" Christian asked the man. "Their gone...all gone. They tried to stop me, and accidently knocked some of the torches down, the fire is spreading rapidly. We must go." Nickolas said to Christian. I could not seem to believe that My mother was dead. Perished to the horrible hells below me. I only cried more.
About several hours later, the three of us were in a small shack out in the fields, where farmers made their food. "Here, Christian, lie her on the bed." I figured the men were foreigners, because they talked so strangely. The pain was so immense in my body, but did die down some, so I wasn't screaming, and whimpering any longer. Nickolas quickly kneeled down beside me. He placed a hand to my head. "Are you alright...?" He asked, giving me a look of sincerity. I nodded vividly, trying my best to stay calm. "W-why...did you help me?" I uttered out. Nickolas, and Christian looked at each other, than Christian nodded his approval for him to proceed. "Melony-" Nickolas started, but I interuppted him with a gasp. "How do you know my name?" "We know a lot of you, Melony." "As you can probably tell, we seem to be a little different. Notice the accents?" Christian asked me. I nodded. "Well, you see, you might find this a little odd, but we are not exactly from this time...or place." Nickolas said, moving a bit closer to her. "I-" I started, but Nickolas cut me off. "Please, just listen for a minute, and let Christian heal you." Confusion overtook me, but I did as I was told, just...feeling a familiar trust for the two. The healing didn't take long, and it surprised me, because I never even saw the medicine man do such amazing things. All Christian did, was put his hands over my wound, and a bright, red light illumanted out of them. Meanwhile, Nickolas was explaining everything to me. "We are from the 20th Century, many, many, centuries from now. We have come to save you, because the world needs your future self." I blinked. "But...how...could I be alive in the 20th Century?" Nickolas didn't respond, he just continued. "In case your wondering, your future self is the key to saving the earth. If we didn't come back for you, our world would cease to exist. We know the hardships of your future, your every deep secret. Your a big, interesting book that we have been reading for hundreds of years." "Excuse me sir, for interuppting, but how is all this possible? How did you travel here? How did you heal me?" I started, looking from Christian to Nickolas. "How did you know this would happen? And what is all this about me saving the earth centuries from now. One's life does not last that long." Nickolas chuckled, looking at me, pentrating his deep, blue eyes into my own. His blonde hair slid over his eyes, and a grin appeared on his face, and he stroked his chin. "Same old, same old. Even as the humane you, your still so full of questions, demanding an answer." I could not help but smile, tilting my head, enjoying his teasing grin. "Well, for starters, we traveled here with high-technology from the future. There are a lot of things there that you might find surprising. I am not one though, to speak of your future. You should not know to much of it, for it could lead to bad things. As for how we healed you, well, the two of us aren't exactly...human. Mortal." "Excuse me for interuppting you, but if you are not mortal, than what may you be?" Nickolas, and Christian looked at one another, obviously trying to talk through one's own expression. They both nodded. "Let's leave that for later, shall we. As for now, you need your rest." Nickolas told me, pulling the small blanket over me. I was about to speak, but Nickolas once again interuppted with his strange ways. "Uh uh, shhhh." He said, putting his finger to his lips, shaking his head. "We'll talk in the morning. Your to weak at the point. Goodnight, my lady." Before I could even speak, they had walked out of the shack, and closed the door behind them. I huffed, plopping back down onto the small cot. They treated me as if I were a child. Nickolas talked to me that way, but his eyes said something else. Something I had not experienced quite yet. But if you were to know, I never had another one, quite like it.

A few days went by after that, they had brought me food until I was able to walk perfectly on my feet once again. They had taught me a few things during those days as well. Telling me hilarious stories of their lives, and the adventures they experienced with each other. I don't think I had ever known how to laugh, until I had met them. During those same days, I kept my mouth shut, wanting, but holding back from asking more questions about the future, why they were still here, and things like that. It was very difficult for me, but in the end it all came to. After those few days, all the shock seemed to flow away from my body. My most greatest moment of all my life, and the explanation of why I was here today, happened that very night...

"Yo Christian, are you leaving so soon?" I watched Nickolas throw his arms up in a odd expression, speaking again in the strange language. "Y-yo? I must say you have very strange language master Nickolas." I stuttered out. Nickolas chuckled. "M'lady, it has been four days, you must stop calling me Master Nickolas, just call me Nick. As for the language, I guess you could call it bad English. The people in the future seem to have picked it up." Nick had loosened up more, and more as we spent more time together. He seemed to change everyday, slowly. The way he expressed himself, and spoke. I only knew this was how he really was. When he had saved my life it was all an act for my sake. Although, it never seemed to bother me at all. I never thought any less of the man who had so bravely risked his life for my own. Nick turned back to Christian. "Yes, I am going to get our dinner. I'll be back soon." Christian replied. I watched him walk out of the door of the small shack. Christian though, seemed to be more formal. He never spoke...*bad english* or whatever Nick called it. "Excuse me if I am being rude Master Nicko- uh, Nick. But I seem to know everything about you, and you know everything about me, except...well, your age for instance, or Christians for that matter." "Oh, I'm twenty-four, and Christian is thirty." Nick responded, his eyes doing that "thing" again. Except this time, he didn't avert them, he just kept doing that "thing" that made me feel a hot sensation rush through my body, mainly around my shoulders.

As I looked back on that night, I never realized what a corny human I was. But of course, I was young...and inexperienced...

We were both on the hardwood floor of the shack in front of a small fire that Christian had built for warmth, and cooking. Nick began to move closer to me, and I shot him a confused look. What is he going to do? I wondered, a little afraid. A second later, he was right next to me. Still giving me that look which sent shivers up and down my back. I remained silent staring back at him. Usually I was so shy when it came to the opposite sex, but Nick was really different. Finally, he spoke. "I just can't take it anymore...These past few days with...you...have driven me to the limit. I..." Nick began, bringing his hand to my pale face. I tensed, jumping a little. "Hey, don't worry. I'm not going to hurt you." I just looked up at him with my twinkling blue eyes. His face seemed a little surprised at the look I gave him. I must have looked like a small, fragile child, because he said. "You have never been this close to a man before, have you?" Nick wondered. I gulped, and nodded. "Have you ever been kissed?" I just shook my head "no". "I was told...a kiss should only be shared with one you cherish." I stuttered out like some terrirfied child. "Well, do you cherish me? In anyway that you would let me be the first man to taste those soft-looking lips of yours?" I could not believe he had just said that to me. No man had ever told me that. Most likely, they weren't given the chance to. My mother had been a very protective woman. Well, she did need a virgin for the sacrifice, maybe that explained it. I thought back to the last couple of days, am I attracted to him? My mind raced around like a horse, trying to answer that question. I am. But enough to cherish him, enough to share something as great as a kiss with? I had to admit, his blonde hair, and irresitable eyes were VERY attractive, and he was incredibly generous and sweet. While him and Christian slept on the floor, they allowed me the cot, and the warmest blankets. He always let me have the first servings of food, never interuppted me, made me feel very safe. Now he was saying these...things...to her. His eyes looked deep into mine, and I didn't know what to do after that, I froze. My heart seemed to stop pounding, Before I knew it, he moved his head a bit closer to mine. What do I do? What do I do? My voice chanted inside my head. But it was to late for the answer, his lips touched mine. For some reason, it felt so natural...once we had connected, everything came naturally. My eyes closed, and I felt these wonderful sparks of energy burst out of my body. It was the most pleasurable thing I had ever felt. He moved his mouth in a perfect motion, deepening the kiss. All I could do was match his movements. The kiss ended in about fifteen seconds, but it felt like an eternity to me. It was just perfect, I had never experienced anything like that. He pulled away about an inch away from my lips, breathing slightly heavy. As we both opened our eyes, I whispered out without thinking. "I cherish you..."

That night left me forever changed, after the feel of his lips on my own, a whole new feeling had taken over me, and I never forgot it. I sat down on the bench in the park, savoring the smell of fresh air. Big, huge, shady trees surrounded me. I looked up at the bright sky. It almost disgusted me, but not quite. My flashback made me savor my last bit of humanity that I had left in me. Once again, my mind wandered back to that night. After the kiss...

"I chreish you..." "Good...." Nick said, with some kind of gleam in his eye, very unfamiliar. "Can I do it again?" He asked me, in this voice that seemed so different. But I didn't get to answer, he already had his mouth on mine, and was hungrirly kissing me. My eyes widened, and I couldn't understand what he was doing. His kiss grew rougher, and began to hurt. I tried to moan out my pain, but all that came out was a muffled sound. I put my hands to his chest, trying to push him away, but he was to strong. I pushed hard as I could, and whimpered, which made him only be more aggressive. I didn't know what to do, and began to get frightened so I bit down on his lips. He cried out, pulling away from me. His eyes seemed to return to his own. He just looked at me, and seemed to be thinking deeply for a minute, trying to realize what he had just done. "Oh my god...I...oh no...I...I'm so sorry! I hurt you..." Nick said in a worried, frantic voice, gently placing his hands on my shoulders, looking at me with a worried look. But my eyes were cast down onto his lips, which were red with blood. "No...I hurt you.." I denied, feeling guilt wash over me for biting him. Completely forgetting the way he came onto me so fourciously. I moved so I was hovering over him, and stared down at him with a worried look. I placed my hands on either side of his face, stroking his cheeks, and forehead. Without thinking, I felt myself losing all my innocense, and I bent down hesistantly, part of me fighting to go back to being a little girl, who was innocent and perfect. But adulthood was waiting for me, and maturity took over, and the power of emotion had won. My lips very lightly touched his, his eyes were wide with confusion, and surprise. Especially, when I ran my tounge gently over his lips, taking in some of his blood, his fuel. He gasped in surprise, and flinched. I pulled away, suddenly afraid. "I..I.." Was all I could stutter out. Nick just looked at me, and a second later the shock sank away, and something else appeared. "It's happening already...Than it is true. I am the one." Nick mummered out. "What do you mean?" I asked, now not understanding anything. But all he said was "It's time." He stood up, and held out his hand. I was to confused to do anything. I stared at his hand as if it were a knife, ready to slice me into two. "Come on." He urged. I still sat, looking up at him. "Come, come with me..." "Look, do you trust me?" I don't what happened, but somehow I found myself letting him help me up, and lead me out of the shack. The moon was so bright that night, and I winced as it shone down on us. It was so bright, like the sun. It was very strange, and it seemed to shine just on us. It was to late before I realized we were under the bad moon. "Where are we going?" I asked. He stopped us in a wide clearing. "Right here..." He said, turning his back from me. I looked around, and saw nothing but trees surrounding the clearing. Where did the path go? Didn't we come on a path? I wondered silently. As I breathed, a faint smoke came out of my mouth from the cold air that surrounded us. "What is this all about Nickolas?" I asked him, stepping in front of him. His head was lowered, his blonde hair covering most of his face. He did not answer me. I just stared at him, contently waiting for a response. I stepped up to him, and lifted his chin so his eyes were looking into mine. His light blue color seemed to have changed to an icy, dark grey. His jaw set in a tight line, and his nostrils flaring. He relaxed suddenly, and lost his tense glare. But his jaw still was set in a tight line. He moved closer to me, so we were only inches apart. Nick was much taller than me, so I only reached his shoulders. Looking down on me, he stroked my face, and than kissed me once again. I responded warmly this time, letting him take me over. I placed my arms around his neck, so my hands were resting, clasped together on the tip of his spine. My eyes closed, and I savored the warm kiss. I felt every possible feeling settle through me, and smiled as I returned his kiss. He pulled away from my lips only to start kissing me all over my face, past my jaw, down to my neck... He was gentle this time, and I giggled slightly, looking up at the moon forgetting all my worries. The episodes of the past days dissapeared. The moon was so bright, and still seemed to just be down on us. I shook a little as Nick's lips began to suck on my neck. I gripped his muscular shoulders as a pleasurable feeling came over me. "Nick...don't...stop..." I whimpered out in a childs voice. I than felt him stop, for just a second, as if he was hesistating about something. But than it came...the delirious pain, sensual pleasure, heartstopping feeling all in one on my neck. Nick had put dozens of amount of pressure on me, literally. He was holding me tightly, because I felt myself go limp as I gasped out. The sound was like a screaming orgasm ready to explode that escaped my lips. I dug my nails into his skin, the sound I was making continuing. I heard every noise possible. The sound of the crickets seem to go louder, the wind blew harshley in my ear, and Nick and I's breathing echoed everywhere. All the while, my eyes kept on the moon, having nothing else to look at for comfort. But an exact second later, I felt my body go, and fall to the ground with thump. Everything seemed to close in around me, I felt my eyes shutting, and was breathing with very short breaths. "I...I can't see.." I cried out softly. "Shh..here..." Nick's comforting voice soothed me as I felt him put something to my mouth. "Drink my blood.." I wanted to pull away, and scream "No!" But I did as I was told, and lapped, and sucked on sweet, tasting blood which actually tasted so delicious. It seemed as if I was sucking on his wrist...The blood made me feel a bit better, but I still could not move. But continued on taking his blood inside me. "That's a good girl.." I heard Nick say, encourging me as he stroked my head lovingly.

Sighing, I layed my head back, and looked up at the sky. That was the last night I ever saw humanity. Nickolas had taken good care of me for many years. Taught me everything he had known about being a vampire. It turned out, he was one of the most powerful vampires that had ever lived. As soon as I had recieved his blood, my strength was incredible, and has only grown these past centuries. Nickolas was my first love, and really my only love. Sure I had lovers, but just for my own personal pleasure. I never really loved anyone else. He had died saving me in battle with Kafor, who could have been the devil. Kafor was more powerful than both Nickolas, and I together. We had defeated him together, but it cost Nickolas his soul. After that, only Christian and I remained, but one morning I had woken up from a dreamy sleep, and he had dissapeared leaving only a trail of his blood. From than on, I was on my own, and took everything they taught me into great promise. For I had been the only vampire for a very long time. Until now...apparently what I had been told, was that a descentent of Kafor had been somehow raised to this time and age. He had destructed the large cities of L.A., New York, and Boston of Masschussetts, making many of his own followers, and killed many of the innocent. Two years ago we met, and it was the most difficult battle I had ever encountered on my own. Still, I reigned in victory. His followers had roamed the US of A for a long while after that, until they all regrouped with one another to attempt to defeat me. For they lost in vain. Therefore, all I know of who is left is Katie and I. The very last two of the race of the nightwalkers. Thinking of Katie, I realized it was late, and the sun was setting. She would awaken soon, and be very hungry. I stood up, stuffing my hands into my trenchcoat pockets, grinning slightly as I walked through the rest of the park. I think we'll go hunt in the bar's again tonight. There is always some naughty people there who need to be punished. I shut my eyes lightly, licking my lips and imagined the helpless screams of a young, stupid rapist with a big ego dying in my own hands as I sucked greedily on his neck, draining him of every last drop. A loud shout of laughter interuppted my thoughts. Teenagers...I thought as I walked past them. I didn't look at them, but could already tell there were four males, and three females. I bit my lip from smiling, for I knew they were all staring at me in awe. I knew I was graceful looking, and had a very mysterious edge to myself. I was not one to ever be modest. My silky, medium length dark hair was placed up securely in a clip, I was a natural beauty so I never used much makeup, and my clothing never hurt to add the finishing touch either. As I drew farther away, I was able to hear them quite clearly, for a vampires hearing becomes way beyond the humans after the one is turned. "Wow, she looks like a model." One of the girls said. "No way, she looks like gothic trash to me." "Excuse me? Gothic trash? I am gothic, what does that make me?" Another girl put in, defending the style. "Nah, she doesn't look gothic to me. She may dress in leather, but that's about it." A deep male voice said, adding in the conversation. "All I have to say is that she looks gorgeous, like an Angel..." A soft, male voice said, finally entered the conversation after a long moment of lustful silence over me. I turned my head back a little, wanting to sneak a peak at the group. By just one glance I could tell that the males were all cacusian, maybe one half-mexican. The girls were all white as well, and a mean bunch. Two of the males were pure, but the other two were vulnerable, and aggressive. None of the females were pure in anyway possible. They had abused many times. But as I began to think more about the young flesh my thirst grew. I realized I hadn't had innocence in a very long time, over ten centures perhaps. A small groan escaped my lips as I imagined the sweet taste of fresh, young, pure blood in my mouth. Nothing was greater, no blood was more powerful, and filling than an innocents blood. I knew I had to forget about it though, how could I take an innocent? I had given up that cruelty, and was not about to let myself do it again. But even as I lost the voices of the teenagers, I still could not help but crave drinking them all one by one.
